I’m sorry to hear about your kitty with cancer. I haven’t encountered many cats that will tolerate actual booties and cats just being cats, I worry about how to safely secure something like that on their feet without causing some kind of problem. But I have found success with clients utilizing nail caps, like Soft Claws or even the Whisker City brand from PetSmart has been fine. I’ve recommended them for cats with wounds or dermatitis where they’re able to get to them with their back feet especially. They’re not too difficult to apply at home, but two vet clinics I’ve worked at will apply them for a small fee, you just have to purchase the nail caps yourself. When applied properly, they will fall off after a few weeks as the nail grows out.
