Dry cat food recommendations
I have been using Purina Beyond grain-free chicken & egg dry cat
food for years. Purina has since stopped selling this brand. Is anyone
in this same dilemma and does anyone have a comparable alternative that
they trust. I’ve never had to switch foods before and I hear cats do not
take to change very well. Looking for advice! -

Hi Debra, you may try simply changing to another one of the Purina Beyond diets with a different protein source. You’d need to check the ingredients list, but the nutrient profiles may otherwise be very similar for that line of diets. Hopefully you may have enough of the original diet to do a slow transition to a new one. You can have better success with a slow transition over 1-2 weeks both to allow your cat’s digestive system to adjust to the change but also this can help to “hide” the change from your cat by making it more gradual.
