i’m looking for a new brand of wet food to give my cat. he used to eat Whiskas then after a year or so he stopped liking it and refused to eat it. after that we did royal canin and he loved it for a few years but recently he hasn’t been finishing his plate and is barely eating it. i just got a couple cans of Billi Treats to try out and see if he’ll actually eat this… so can anyone pls recommend some other brands that could be think they are healthiest wet cat food for every cat? does anyone have suggestions for other brands that they think are the healthiest wet cat food that most cats enjoy?

    Hi Thompson,

Cats can sometimes be very picky, so finding the balance between a food your cat likes and one you feel is healthiest can be a real challenge with all the choices available. We do have a couple articles that can help. The first is a review of 10 canned/wet foods in 2026: https://cats.com/reviews/best-canned-cat-food

Since you did mention that it seems your cat has lost interest in foods periodically, a rotational diet plan may be something to consider. For some more info on rotational diets, here is an article on the topic: https://cats.com/rotation-diet-for-cats

A rotational diet program can help with keeping food new and interesting, but it’s important to transition between diets carefully and properly to avoid digestive upset.
